LEAD PASTOR

Pastor Perry Jones Jr. was born in Clinton, Louisiana. He is married to Loretta Adams Jones and is the proud father of four daughters: Regina, Dana, Kaylynn, and Trinity.

After two years of ministry at Asphodel, Rev. Jones then moved his membership to the Second Baptist Church of Wilson Louisiana, under the leadership of Pastor John Sanders.

It was in the year 2010 that Rev. Jones finished up the Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree from Louisiana Baptist University. In 2017 Pastor Jones completed the Master of Discipleship at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In November 2021 Pastor Jones completed the Doctor of Ministry from Clamp Divinity School of Anderson South Carolina.

Since Pastor Jones has been Pastor, the church has grown spiritually, financially and numerically. Pastor Jones is humbled and continues to be amazed at the great works that God is doing at Mt. Pleasant.
